“A Christmas Survival Guide” is a fun musical revue with 7 actors! Christmas carries many traditions for each household and some of those traditions bring unwanted stress. The characters take on various roles in vignettes as they search for the true essence of Christmas while coping with the stressful season. It is both heartwarming and hilarious to witness the traditional holiday scenes through song. The show runs between November 28 and December 4, 2016 at the Community Arts Addition, Abbotsford.

“Hello Dolly!” is an exuberant and irresistible story of living life to the fullest. This multiple Tony Award winning musical is full to the brim with memorable songs like, Put on Your Sunday Clothes, Before the Parade Passes By and It Only Takes a Moment. Dolly Levi is an independent widow who is an expert in just about everything, especially match making. She has set her sights on her own match with Horace and as chaos ensue, she somehow make everyone happy in the end. The Show runs between February 18 and March 4, 2017 at the Abbotsford Arts Centre, Abbotsford. Dolly Levi; stage age 30-50, alto-soprano. An indefatigable meddling matchmaker. Needs a commanding, strong stage presence and comedic ability.
Irene Molloy; stage age 30 -35, soprano. Owns the Hat Shop, widow, beautiful, smart, ready to enjoy life.
Minnie Fay; stage age 17 – 20, mezzo-soprano. Irene’s assistant, naive, talks a lot.
Ermengarde; stage age 17 – 20, any vocal range. Horace’s neice, whiny, cries a lot, small in stature, wants to marry Ambrose.
Ernestina; stage age 30 – 45, any vocal range. Eccentric, curvy gal with a big personality.
Horace Vandergelder; stage age 40 -60, baritone. Well-known half-a-millionaire, widower, owns the Feed Store. Grumpy, set in his ways.
Cornelius Hackl; stage age 20 – 35, baritone. Vandergelder’s clerk, energetic, enthusiastic and adventurous.
Barnaby Tucker; stage age 17 – 20, baritone. Assistant to Cornelius, naive, energized, follows Cornelius.
Ambrose Kemper; stage age 19 – 23, tenor. Struggling artist, good-natured, tall, wants to marry Ermagarde.
Rudolph Reisenweber; stage age 40 -60, bass. Maitre’d of the Harmonia Gardens, proper, uptight.
Smaller roles/character parts will be cast from the chorus.
